If you’ve ever wondered what the experience of moving to Rome is like for an expat, then maybe one of the most informative (and certainly the most entertaining) ways is through comedy. Rome’s Comedy Club is made up of (mostly) mother-tongue English speaking expats from all over the world, whose love for laughter has brought them together.

Rome’s Comedy Club

Now in it’s 11th season, Rome’s Comedy Club is gearing up for another year of sharing the nuances of expat life in Italy (among other themes). The jokes aren’t just about expats but often about daily life in Rome and Italy in general.

The shows take place roughly once a month (best to check the group’s facebook for upcoming events) at Rome’s first Tiki Bar, Makai Surf & Tiki Bar (Via dei Magazzini Generali 4 a/b/c), located in the Ostiense neighborhood.

The lineup of comedians includes Rome’s Comedy Club founder, Marsha Cincinnati (MC for the event), Josè Salgado, Federica Binanti, Stefano Rapone, and Luca Di Prospero.

The event costs €15 and includes a glass of wine or beer and an aperitivo spread. Doors open at 8pm and the show starts at 9:15pm.
